Loss of Power Steering at low RPM

Why might I have excellent power steering at a little over idle speed, but almost no assist at low RPMs. Any ideas? [/b]

You could be low on fluid or have a belt that is slipping some. Hopefully it is not your pump dying a slow death but it is something to look at, too. Check fluid level and look at your belt and make sure it's tightened up like it should be, then go from there.
