Hi, I was driving my 2001 pontiac montana and it overheated. We put antifreeze in and it drove fine until I drove home and it started over heating again. When checking the oil there was antifreeze in it. What do you think the problem is?
Thank you,
Susan

Hi, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you have just described the "classic" symptoms of a bad head gasket. Check your anti-freeze and see if there is oil in it. You would also get air bubbles in it with the car running. Have a good shop you trust check it out -do not drive any more than absolutly necesarry!Any more driving could cause more severe damage , stop now and all you may need is a new head gasket, oil change and anti-freeze. Good luck
