I have a problem with the heater control on my 1998 Chevy Malibu, 110K miles.
The air source always defaults to "outside" air no matter what blower position I choose (lower or defrost).
Might a switch be bad? Where is it located?

Look under the hood for the round black vacuum tank about the isze of a softball.. Check the vacuum lines going in and out. Quite often the small plastic lines break and cause your problem
