The problem is vacuum isn't getting to the controls correctly or the control is defective. Check under the hood for a small 1/8" black plastic line that leads from the engine into the car in a wiring harness. The end of the lne should be connected to a vacuum source. Often the break due to heat.

Warranty?? It shoild be depending on the in service date. 3 Years and 36K

Good luck

Suggested Repair

Check the small black vacuum line under the hood that runs from a vacuum source into the car through the wiring harness; it often breaks from heat. If vacuum is present, the HVAC control may be defective. Warranty coverage depends on the in-service date, typically 3 years or 36,000 miles.
