I own a 1995 Saturn SC2, it has 107,300 miles on it, and still runs great, i drive to and from school every day and the cruise controll has always worked fine. one day it just shut it self off and woulnt stay on for more then a few seconds, at lower speeds it would work for longer. The next day the cruise controll didnt work at all. The cruise controll setup has a indicator light on it that is lit when in the on position, and it is still working. i checked the fuse and it isnt the problem. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it.

Thank You

Also it is a 5 speed manuel transmission

What to check next

Diagnostic guidance. Suggested checks and possible repairs are separate from the owner's reported results.

If adding a follow-up, state whether cruise control continued working and whether any cause for the reported low fluid level was documented.

Discussion summary

Cruise Controll Problems

The owner of a 1995 Saturn SC2 with a manual transmission reported that cruise control began shutting off, then stopped working entirely. The indicator still illuminated, and the owner reported checking the fuse. In a follow-up, the owner said the clutch fluid had been low and cruise control worked again after fluid was added.

Reported outcome: The owner reported restored cruise-control operation after adding clutch fluid.

This is an owner-reported sequence, not a verified explanation of the fault. No diagnostic findings or longer-term follow-up established why cruise control stopped working.
