cross member

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions about putting in a new clutch on my car that has a rusted frame and cross member

Howdy, I wonder if it is worth the time and trouble if the frame is too rusted but if you have your heart set on it find a big burly guy to break loose the bolts on the crossmember, even if he has to break the bolts you can always put new ones in. Then have him knock the member loose with a big hammer and go from there.Happy wrenching :D
