My starter had recently been going out, I even had a complete power loss before I began to change the starter. I r/r the starter and hooked the wires up to it, now there are three wires going to the starter and they are all identified right and were hooked up in the right places. I turned the key and saw a spark, it then began to spark and finally blew the bolt right out of the positive terminal of the battery. Any suggestions?

Lets start with this, where did you get this replacement starter from? Hopefully from a retail store and not a junk yard.
If you connected the wires correctly, the only plausible causes for this is a short inside the solenoid, or that you connected your battery cables backwards. The positive battery cable hooks to the large centre on the solenoid. MAKE 100% CERTAIN THAT THE 2 SMALL WIRES AND THE BATTERY CABLE ARE NOT MAKING ANY CONTACT WHATSOEVER.

Was your battery dead at the time of starting? And where you jumping it with a good battery?
If you need more help, please give us more details of what the symptoms are and what you have done. Most important is vehical information:
Type of car
Engine size (with milage on it)
Transmission type
Good luck and let us know what your reults are.
