2002 Other GMC Models To much transmission fluid

Transmission problem
2002 Other GMC Models 6 cyl Automatic

I put to much transmission fluid in my 2002 grand prix how do I take it out ? and if I put over 3 quarts in will it hurt the veichle. Please help Im kind of stranded. ASAP

You can use a suction tool down the dipstick tube, or you can loosen the trans pan and drain some into a pan.
