I have a Vortex 8.1L engine powering a 60 KW generator. The engine runs at 1800 RPM. What should the oil pressure be when the engine is at temp with a 45 KW load on it? I see that when it is cold the oil pressure is at 68 psi and when running with a load it is around 31 psi. Does this sound right?

31 psi with a warm engine is OK. Rule of thumb is 10 psi for each 1000 RPM.
