2001 Other GMC Models Heater core problem

the hose broke off of the heater core adapter, how do we fix it? I tried to use a pair of blue point disconnect pliers but I couldn't get in to the adapter.

from the factory the clamps are glued to the hose. If the hose broke anyhow you can try to take a screwdrive to spin the hose so you can reach the clamp. Soemtimes the clamps will come off the hose and oyou should be able to work it around to get to it with the proper pliers.
