I am in upstate ny and ws wondering how much a repair on an axle shaft woudl be. and also what is the most economical way to do it

If you are mechanically inclined, and know your way around tools, purchase a repair manual, and check out the repairs you want to perform. If you think you are capable, get the parts, rent the tools you will need, and get er done!!
