The 1988 doesn't have a timing belt or chain it has 2 gears, I want to replace them myself is there any certain way they go back on? Should be be 12o'clock 6'oclock markings on the Gears or what? If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks

the motor your refering to is a 2.5 right? line the two dots up on each gear you may need pullers to pull each gear, you can use a bolt and washer to put the new cam gear on, use the harmonic ballancer and bolt to put the crank gear on ( this way works well for me.)
