With enough time and money you can do anything. Depending on your location you might not be allowed tho. If your locale requires emmision (smog) testing then forget it. You would not be able to have it inspected for street use.

I doubt if the transmission is compatable either. 1988 is possibly a competer controlled automatic overdrive tranny.

If you do put it in I'll bet it will pass evrything but a gas station. :D
