I hear a clicking/clunking noise from the under body when accelerating from a stop. Sounds like heavy pinging. Furthermore I sometimes hear the same type of noise on a one time basis while putting vehicle in drive. After investigating, problem appears to be in the area of the front driveshaft U-Joint. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'll answer my own question. After having Jimmy checked, it turned the problem was in the rear u-joint which once replaced solved the problem.
