I believe your looking for the vacuum reservoir for the A/C.
It's inside the left side fender near the brake booster.

Do these ever go bad? I broke the nipple off of mine trying to get the line off of it.

Hello, I'm Danny.
After time and general weathering yes they can become brittle and break. Best to just replace but if trying to save time and money you can go to a home repair, automotive, or hardware store and look for a plastic type epoxy glue and try to reattach. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
