Hi Guys,
I rarely drive ny wife's 2001 Jimmy, except to fill it up when the low fuel light comes on. At least I'm good for something. Anyways, while performing this chore the other night, I put it 4 wheel Hi for a few miles on the way to the gas station, anticipating winter just around the corner. When I pulled in the driveway, it felt like the rear end was still in 4 wheel. Same thing backing out. Tried driving around and shifting into 4 Hi and 4 Low and back agian. This all worked fine, and one can can tell when it's in 4 wheel by the way the wheels "chatter" going around corners. Well, once back in 2 wheel, the rear wheels still act like it's 4 wheel. Rear wheels chatter from dead start and in reverse. Wifey noticed it too, so what could be the problem? Thanks for your help!
