Electrical problem
2001 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My service engine light came on so I took my car to my local mechanic. The code read P0452B: Fuel tank pressure sensor circuit, low voltage. My mechanic had never run into that and didn't know how to proceed. He turned off the service engine light twice, but it continues to come on. Can you tell me what the problem is and what to tell my mechanic so it can be remedied? Thanks!

That is a sensor locted on top of the fuel tank. Most likely a bad sensor, but need to check for 5 volt reference first and ground
