2001 GMC JIMMY 4.3l
My jimmy has high oil pressure which in return keeps blowing the seal on the oil filter I figured it was a clog so I used engine flush and while doing the flush it brought the pressure back down to 40psi so I then drained and filled it with oil and new filter and same thing happened I have repeated this procedure 3 time and it still is blowing the seal. I also have removed and flushed all oil line up to the block any Ideas on what is going on?

try changing the pcv valve and let me know what happens, because the pcv valve is the only way to vent the crankcase, so if it is plugged , guess what? I think you know, so try that and get back to me . thanx
