pressure gage reads to the high side and i have a check eng light on performance is slugish

if you don't put a emchanical oil gugae on to check you have just a general idea on it. 50-60p.si. at 200 or so rpm is normal. and 20 p.s.i. at idle is ok too. You need to get the codes read to see where the problem is for the service engine light.
