I HAVE A 2001 GMC JIMMY...I TOOK IT IN 2 A MECH. AND HE SAID FUEL PUMP WAS BAD...I DNT HAVE $$$ TO PAY HIM AND I AM VERY MECH. INCLINED PULLED FUEL FILTER OFF AND CHECKED TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY FUEL PUMPING OUT...THERE WAS.... I DNT KNOW WHAT PSIG BUT I COULD ALSO HEAR THE PUMP COME ON I REPLACED FUEL FILTER STILL NO LUCK COULD THE PUMP BE BAD EVEN THOUGH ITS PUMPING FUEL

Could be coming On but not to specification/incorrect fuel pressure. EFI system are very picky on fuel pressures
