when the 4wd button is pushed by driving nothing happens. Per the manual there is a process to shift into 4wd when stopped and shift is in neutral. This only works sometimes.

When it doesn't shift, have a helper push the button while you check for power to the actuator on the transfer case. If there is power, chances are the actuator is bad.

Let me know what you find, and thanks for using 2carpros.com

If you hear the click, then power is there. You need to remove the actuator to see if it is actually working. I realize it is a pain to do, but we have to be sure it is actually working.
