My 2001 GMC Jimmy has completely died. I ran the code reader through it and it comes up as P0300. There is absolutely no fuel pressure. I have replaced the fuel pump twice and fuel filter three times in the short time I have had it. Just about everything else has been replaced as well. Any other suggestions?

Hi
P0300 can be many different items.
Any fuel, ignition, or engine mechanical problems can cause a p0300 to set on any cylinder(s),
stuck injector, faulty spark plug, bad cam lobe. As a result, I would recommend that you take the vehicle to a qualified dealer and allow them to check it. Otherwise, you may end up replacing many good parts before you get the right one.

Unfortunately I have taken it to a certified GMC dealer as well as a service center and they were unsure of the what was causing the problem as well. They replaced what they thought the problem was but said they couldn't guarantee that it would fix it. The spark plugs have been replaced. I do not know what else to do at this point!

Hiagain:
Could you better describe how the vehicle is acting now and everything that has been replaced?

Joe
