2000 GMC Jimmy hesitates after new fuel pump

2000 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 125k miles

I just changed the fuel pump and fuel filter on my 2000 GMC jimmy. Now it starts fine, but when I hit the gas it hesitates before it takes off.

Did you disconnect the battery if so the computer could be going thru a relearning process.. You can try and test the TPS and MAP sensors.
