2000 GMC Jimmy Front end noise can't define

Odd front end noise. Dull whump.

Had new ball joints put in last year. Greased everything up. New oil in front axle. Pwr steering level good.

Noise increases when marginal steering at speed.

Doesn't have that brake pad sound, but can't find anything else

Check the intermediate steering shaft for binding. When the lube in them dries out they can make some interesting sounds. So can the Torsion bar mounts and the A arm bushings.
