How do I change the upper and lower ball joints in my 2000 GMC Jimmy? I see that the replacement parts bolt in, so I must cut off the factory rivets.

What is the sequence of the repair? I think I need to remove the outer tie rod end to release the front hub assembly. I plan to replace both the inner and outer tie rod ends, both ball joints and my even replace the hub assembly.

My thoughts are that those parts need to be removed anyway so why not replace them with new parts since my labor is free!!!!

Can you also proved the bolt torque requirements for the new ball joints -- to the frame and to the hub assembly.

Photos would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tony
