I have a 2000 gmc jimmy sle vortec 6cylinder with 123000miles recently when i park and turn the ignition off it will not go to the off position leaving my electricals on inside the vehicle any ideas what is causing this

yes, your ignition key tumbler or ignition switch has fallen apart inside, disassemble to replace as needed.
