when i park im having trouble getting my steering to lock so i can take my key out

Is the shifter out of adjustment? HAve you tried moving thesteering wheel back and forth to see if it will work easier.Sometimes the locks get a build up of metal shavings that keeps them from working smooth.Try blowing it out with air and using alock lube on it (dry graphite)
