Shift solinoid B electrical code # P0758. Engine light is on and this is what the code is. Can this be a faulty ignition switch, that is what I read on the net but don't want to change if not it

I had the same solenoid go out in my 95 Jimmy. There is 2 of them tranny right under the pan. I wasn't sure which was which so I bought them both. Coast less than $50 for both. Dropped the pan removed the solenoids plugged in new ones, reattached wires, installed new oil pan gasket and inserted the pan. Took about an hour (stupid crossover was in the way) and colst me around $85 out the door. Transmission place wanted $350 to do it!

P.S. I bought the solenoids at Advanced Auto Parts, they are not hard to get either.
