Transmission problem
1998 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
My 98 GMC Jimmy needs a new transmission. We are having the transmission rebuilt and went to pull it from the vehicle itself.
We have removed the lines to the transmission, removed all the bolts, and the transfer case, but the the transmission itself will not disengage from the motor.
We wanted to know if there is something that we are missing? Do we have to take the torque converter off as well?
