Transmission problem
1998 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 190 K miles

I have a 98 a GMC Jimmy with 190 K miles on it. Recently I had the rear end replaced. Now when I am driving the lights go out on my automatic 4 wheel drive. Ill be driving even in 2 wheel drive and the push button lights just stop working. Is there anything wrong with my transmission or am I just worrying over nothing?

I would start by checking the wiring harness to the actuator on the transfer case. It may be loose or have a bad connection.
