I was driving my jimmy down the road the other night and when I went to hit the gas to speed up it acted like it was out of gas and shutting off. I let off the gas for a coupple seconds and then pushed the gas again. It snapped out of it, then it did the same thing again. I pulled over and it died on me, I got it to start again for a second or two, then it died. Now I can not get it to start again. I didnt know if this was a fuel pump problem, or like a spark plug problem or something?

Welcome to the forum, how long since a tune-up? If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. When you first turn the key on, no crank, can you hear the pump run for a few seconds?

You can listen by the gas cap, have a helper turn the key, while you listen. If you can't hear anything, you might whacking the bottom of the tank, that might jar the pump into working, if that is the problem? If you suspect the pump, check electrical circuits, first.
