My brakes are really hard to push. We tried to change the brake pads but they are good. I was told that it is the power brake booster. I can;t afford to pay a shop to change it. I have called several and they all will charge almost $500.00 just for labor. I want to try to do it myself. Can you give me a step by step how to guide on how to do that please? Thank you so much.

There's 2 nuts holding the brake master cylinder to the brake booster 1st disconnect all brake lines to M/C then remove the nuts-go on the other side of the firewall from the inside and remove the 4 bolts -then remove the booster
