1997 GMC Jimmy oil coming from tail pipe

My Jimmy over heated , changed the thermostat.After that it was running rough and notice there was oil coming out of the tail pipe. Can you give me any ideal why?

May have blown a head gasket any coolant loss? oil look normal? Compression test will tell
