I've had almost everything, but the transmission replaced on my Jimmy. Engine is less then 2 yrs old, gas tank, fuel pump, radiator, water pump 2x, alternator, etc. Just had the heater blower replaced. Now at times it's sluggish (which is similar to the fuel pump problem when that was going). But it's just at odd times, nothing consistent. Usually from a stop, not a sudden slow down or anything while I''m driving at a speed over 30 or so. What could this be now? No warning signals from my dashboard readings, all levels and stuff seems normal =temp, alternator, etc. Thanks for any advice :)

Headwind?

:)

Sorry. It's hard to make a good guess based on what you have so far. I may not be reading it right, but I'm a little confused - are you only noticing it when you're taking off from a stop, or only noticing it when you're travelling about 30mph, or both?

You mentioned "similar to the fuel pump problem". I've been through that a couple times too. When parked in a quiet place, if you turn the key forward to 'on' (but not 'start'), you should hear a whirring sound as the fuel pump pressures up, lasting about 3 to 5 seconds. It should do this every time you turn the key forward to 'on'. Sometimes when the pump is failing, it will pressure up sometimes but not all the time, and a failing pump could cause the symptoms you describe. But so could a dirty fuel filter, or a variety of other things.

Listening to the pump is a simple thing to do, and a failing pump wouldn't manifest itself in your instrument panel, so I'd give that a listen. If it pressures up every time, stop back in and post a little more detail on what's going on.
