P0440 is an EVAP failure code.

P0507 is an idle control system, idle higher than expected.

With the two of these together it sounds like the front purge solenoid on the intake manifold is leaking and causing a vacuum leak through the EVAP system. It is a simple bolt on part that costs about 20 bucks. Two bolts to remove it and a clip that retains the vacuum line to the EVAP line. It could also be a larger vacuum leak though. Look for broken lines or listen for the leak as well when you test the solenoid valve.
