1996 GMC Jimmy Brake Booster conection to Brake Pedal

1996 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a question about my 96 jimmy. How do I disconnect the brake booster push rod from my brake pedal? Also, do I need any special tools?

It should have a locking clip that you have to lift up the outer edge to clear the end of the shaft and then it will slide off to the side.
