I'd have to make sure the battery has a full charge and the battery connections are clean and tight on both ends. If your saying the starter won't even crank, check the starter circuit. Do the dash lites come on, when you turn the key on? Did you try cranking in neutral? The purple wire at the starter solenoid S terminal, should be hot with the key in the crank position? Could be the starter itself? Can't tell much without some testing.

Take the starter off and have it tested. Some of the national brand autostores will test it for you.
