1995 GMC Jimmy park wont work!

i have a 1995 Gmc jimmy that i cant get park to work in. All my other gears work with no problem but park wotn engage. shifter says it is in park but car rolls when on a hill. wondering what it could be.

Chances are the linkage is out of adjustment. Check that to make sure it is actually going into the park position on the transmission.
