My 1992 Jimmy has the electric push-button toggle switch on the dash to engage/disengage the 4-wheel drive. The engagement does not work. The indicator lights on the switch come on briefly when I turn on the ignition, which is right. But I used to hear a click from under the vehicle when I pushed that button, which is not happening now. There is no change in vacuum in the hose going to the front wheels.

Sounds like the transfer case actuator motor may have failed or the transfer case control module. The TCCM is in the passenger side kick panel under the dash.
