Engine Cooling problem
1990 GMC Jimmy V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic

My car has been overheating and i replaced the thermostat and now its overheating and steaming from the actual thermostat gasket itself. I am going to wait till it cools and redo everything to check to see if everything is correct but assuming everything is correct because i rarely mess up...what else could it be?? I didnt use any sealant could this be why its spewing steam??

I fixed the thermostat by sealing it better and now its steaming from somewhere else. Could be the water pump?
