1984 GMC Jimmy V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a stock small block 350 it has a 650 edd. carb hirise intake stock headers i would like to know if i can put a thumper cam in it and will i have to make other changes pistons roller rockers things like that or can i do it with out makeing changes thank you david.
