2003 GMC Envoy Engine Stalls

Watched the clutch on the AC, the clutch spins and the engine stalls or goes to a low idle. Clutch stops the engine runs at proper idle and the process starts all over again. Why is this?

Your computer may not be picking up that the a/c is on but clean your throttle plate onyour engine with choke cleaner on both sides. Also clean teh square type hole where the iac is. That may be causing it as well.
