Electrical problem
2003 GMC Envoy 111,00 miles

My 2003 GMC Envoy has been shutting off on me. If I come to a complete stop my brake pedal will stiffen and the car will shut off. I can stand on the brake pedal and it won't budge, I can also push the gas pedal to the floor and it won't rev the engine. If I shut the car off and turn it back on it's fine.

first scan for codes, change fuel filter then clean the throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and tps switch. that may fix your problem.
