What do you mean the abs isn't working right?
Describe what is happening with the ABS and I'll reply.

The ABS dose not work when you apply the brakes on icy/snowy roads which makes it difficult to stop.

Ahhh. Does not work at all. So the ABS light must be on. There are codes in the computer that will help us track down the problem more than likely. However, it may need to be driven with a scanner that can read the wheel speeds. Sounds like a speed sensor issue. The 4wd drive can't engage because the computer is unable to get a signal from one of the sensors.
