2005 GMC Canyon Rough idle

My 2005 GMC Canyon has a check engine light on I have had the computer scanned and it said that it was the idier control box. I took it off and cleaned it but it didnt change still idles rough and check engine light is still on. It also shifts hard into 2nd gear when accelerating slowly it wont do it when accelerating quickly. PLZ help!!

I took it off and cleaned it but it didnt change still idles rough and check engine light is still on. Is it for the same code if so is the IACV functioning properly? If not replace it-also might want to test the throttle position sensor and vehicle speed sensor for the shifting problem

Check the tranny fluid condition and level
