1998 GMC C3500 Vehicle will not start

I replaced the fuel pump about a year ago. When I turn on the key, I don't hear the fuel pump. Truck turns over but will not start. I woul not think that the fuel pump would be bad already.

I would normally contribute, but my company went under and has not paid any of us what they owe us.

Check Ign E fuse 10amp in the underhood fuse/relay center and fuel pump balance relay on the fuel pump balance module.
