Engine Cooling problem
1995 GMC C3500 Automatic 60000 miles

when I'm in idle the temp gauge rises but then as soon as I start to drive the needle moves back to the middle. Why does this happen & how serious is it?

Hi bklynmyke, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation.

Replace the thermostat and make sure the coolant is up to level-don't work report back asap.
