2003 GMC C2500 stalling out power loss

truck dyes while going down highway, dash light says power loss, check with scanner, gives a vehicle speed sensor code, changed one in trans. is there another that should be changed, because it still does the same thing.

Yes, there is another one. I'm afraid you change the wrong sensor is sensor that you need is called, vehicle speed sensor (VSS) it is located on top of the transfer case.

if one is in the transfer case where is the other one located

Connect the speed sensor electrical connector (4).
