I crank the starter for 5-10 secs then stop then turn the key and truck fires right away. Changed chassis mounted fuel filter and can hear fuel pump working when just turn key on

Check the fuel pressure. By the description given you should have good fuel pressure when running but when you shut the vehicle off if the fuel pressure drops to zero. You have a faulty fuel pressure regualtor. Which is part of the fuel pump assembly. Inside the tank
