The 4 wheel drive indicator light keeps blowing fuses is the truck really going into 4 wheel drive even if this light doesn't work? it is a manual lever to engage the drive

Hi:
Either you have a bad switch on the transfer case itself, or there is a short in the wiring. The only way to find that is to follow the wires and look for broken or damaged wiring.
